हिन्दू धर्म में तुलसी पूजन का बहुत महत्वा है , ऐसी मान्यता है की तुलसी के पौधे में माँ महालक्ष्मी का वास होता है |
माता तुलसी के पास सुबह शाम पूजा करने तथा दीपक जलाने से माता तुलसी उसपे प्रसन्न होती है | कार्तिक माह में तुलसी पूजन का विशेष महत्व है | कहते है की कार्तिक माह में ये महत्व और अधिक बढ़ जाता है | इस माह में तुलसी की पूजा करने से विशेष करने से फल की प्राप्ति होती है | इसी माह में तुलसी और सालिग्राम की पूजा का भी विशेष महत्वा है, क्युकी इसी माह में तुलसी माता तथा भगवान् शालिग्राम  का विवाह हुआ था |
शास्त्रों में ऐसा वर्णन है की अगर मृत्यु के समय व्यक्ति के मुँह में तुलसी का पत्ता रख दिया जाए , व्यक्ति को मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है |
ऐसी मान्यता है की कार्तिक माह में तुलसी का पौधा लगाने से व्यक्ति की साड़ी मनोकामनाएं पूर्ण होती है |
स्नान आदि से निवृत  होकर यदि तुलसी माता की पूजा अर्चना कर उनकी परिक्रमा करने पर माता लक्ष्मी उसपे प्रसन्न होती है | तुलसी घर में होने से पवित्रता बनी रहती है 

तुलसी का पूजन करने से भक्त का शरीर अनेक चंद्रयण व्रतों का फल के सामान पवित्र हो जाता है |
जल में तुलसी डाल कर नहाने से अनेक तीर्थो में नहाने का पुण्य फल प्राप्त होता है |
तुलसी का पौधा घर और आँगन में होने से घर में शांति बनी रहती है  |
तुलसी का पौधा घर में होने से माँ लक्ष्मी की कृपा सदा घर वालो पे बनी रहती है |
प्रतिदिन तुलसी का पौधा दही और चीनी मिक्स करके करके सेवन करने से बहुत लाभ प्राप्त होता है |
तुलसी घर के सरे वस्तु दोष को ख़तम कर्म में सहायक है | 

तुलसी साक्षात् महालक्ष्मी का ही अवतार है | एक समय की बात है , माता महालक्ष्मी को श्राप के कारन धरती लोक पर तुलसी के रूप में जन्म लेना पड़ा | तब भगवान् विष्णु ने महालक्ष्मी के इस तुलसी रूप को आशीर्वाद दिया की तीनो लोको में तुम्हारी युग युगो तक पूजा होती रहेगी | 

माता तुलसी के पास कौन सी चीज नहीं रखनी चाहिए |

तुलसी के पास जुटे - चप्पल नहीं रखने चाहिए |
तुलसी के पास झाड़ू नहीं रखनी चाहिए |
तुलसी के पास गंदे कपडे नहीं होने चाहिए |
तुलसी के पास कूड़ेदान नहीं रखने चाहिए |
तुलसी के पास गन्दी चीजों को नहीं रखना चाहिए |

Tulsi plant opens the door to salvation

 

 
Tulsi worship is very important in Hindu religion, it is believed that Goddess Mahalakshmi resides in Tulsi plant.
By worshiping Mata Tulsi in the morning and evening and lighting a lamp, Mata Tulsi is pleased with her. Tulsi worship has special significance in the month of Kartik. It is said that this importance increases even more in the month of Kartik. Worshiping Tulsi in this month gives special results. The worship of Tulsi and Saligram in this month also has special significance, because in this month Tulsi Mata and Lord Shaligram were married.
It is described in the scriptures that if a Tulsi leaf is placed in the person's mouth at the time of death, the person attains salvation.
It is believed that by planting a Tulsi plant in the month of Kartik, the wishes of a person are fulfilled.
If after retiring from bath etc., worshiping Tulsi Mata and doing her circumambulation, Goddess Lakshmi is pleased with her. Purity is maintained by having Tulsi in the house.


By worshiping Tulsi, the devotee's body becomes pure like the fruit of many Chandrayan fasts.
Bathing by putting Tulsi in water gives the virtuous fruit of bathing in many pilgrimages.
Having a Tulsi plant in the house and in the courtyard keeps peace in the house.
Having a Tulsi plant in the house, the blessings of Mother Lakshmi always remain on the people of the house.
Consuming Tulsi plant by mixing curd and sugar daily gives many benefits.
Tulsi is helpful in eliminating all the material defects of the house.


Tulsi is the real incarnation of Mahalakshmi. Once upon a time, Mata Mahalakshmi had to take birth in the form of Tulsi on earth due to curse. Then Lord Vishnu blessed this Tulsi form of Mahalakshmi that you will continue to be worshiped in all the three worlds for ages.


What should not be kept near Mata Tulsi?

Slippers should not be kept near Tulsi.
A broom should not be kept near Tulsi.
Tulsi should not have dirty clothes.
Dustbins should not be kept near Tulsi.
Dirty things should not be kept near Tulsi.
